i took these at the last cross country meet, at fairfield. maybe it will help the homesick iowans? (or make it worse.) the trees are already turning here, some of them! it's crazy.

i also took some of my brother, but i still haven't figured out exactly when to take a picture in order to compensate for the slow reaction time of a digital camera. (maybe it's just ours, but it has to think about it before it takes the picture. that's why a lot of mine turn out badly.) i also used up a roll of b&w, and then last night used the other two i had around town. there really is nothing of interest in ottumwa to take pictures of.
