Photos from my weekend! It was a nice one, even if it contained many, many hours of driving. Friday I went to Davenport and saw Erika and the World's Cutest Four-Year-Old, and I hung out there with them until Sunday morning. I then drove to Mt. Vernon for Sarah's senior show and to pick up my sister. I hadn't been to Mt. Vernon for awhile, so it was interesting. And different. I saw the Pfeiffer remodel, and wouldn't you know, but the paint is already peeling off the walls.
And guys, I discovered that Randall's is no longer a bar, but a cafe. It was a sad moment for me, but then I ate a spicy grilled chicken sandwich at the LIncoln, and I felt somewhat better.
I think I have a similar photo of him (with a stick) from last time that I saw him.
Sarah with Sandy, both of whom I was happy to see again.
Part of Sarah's show. It is called "Articulations of the Page" and it involves homemade paper, grass seeds, and poetry by Robert Dana. It's very, very cool!
Now I am back to work. I'm just so, very thrilled...can't you tell?
