I know there are a few gift giving opportunities in the next few months, and I am trying to think ahead. I decided recently that I need a jewelry box, so I am on the search. I think I'd prefer a larger one, so I could put everything in one place, and I like the look of something simple or perhaps with a more antique feel. I'm having minimal luck online and have found two examples:
This one is from a shop on Etsy, but it's far too small. I like the look of it though.
Then there's this one from Pottery Barn. While the price is a little higher than I would pay, I wouldn't mind. Except that it doesn't actually come in this nice dark color, only the ivory. Sigh.
So...without having to look through several thousand Etsy search results of decoupaged cigar boxes, does anyone have any other ideas for me? I've checked the antique stores in town to no avail, and am now on an internet search. I'd be grateful for anything anyone can throw my way!
