kiwi dollar gains against american. that is about 5-6¢ it's gained since i arrived two months ago and pretty much all in the last couple of weeks, and it wasn't as good of an exchange rate as i thought it would be to begin with. aiee.

When I was in Montreal, I wanted to buy a paperback book, which had a US price of 6.99 and a Canadian price of 12.50. Now, paying that in Canadian dollars meant I was paying like 13 or 14 bucks in US dollars! Good job, George W.
ReplyDeleteyah...the american dollar is crap to begin with, and then everyone ELSE'S dollar is gaining strength which combines to=crap.
