itinerary, photos, and stuff.

i was trying to think of a really great analogy of how packing is going.  it's like, i pack a box, i turn around, and the amount of things i have left to pack has somehow multiplied.  it's kind of like something in greek mythology, but what exactly, i can't recall.*  apparantly greek and roman art was too long ago.

i must be making some progress at least, because i can sort of see my floor now.  although there is a definite decline in the sorting process, i managed to pack two medium-sized boxes of photos and things, and i did not really want that much.  but i leave iowa on tuesday afternoon, so time is a factor here.

since last friday, my last day at work, i have also:
gone to stephanie's graduation at cornell
gone hiking at garrison rock, twice
done six loads of laundry
been to jesica's house overnight
been to ames to visit family, also overnight
and run many, many errands.

here is my upcoming schedule:
tuesday, june 12: leave iowa on the bus, about 4:15 pm.
wednesday, june 13: in the morning, arrive in denver--have a six hour-ish break which i will be spending partially with the colorado youngs.
thursday, june 14: evening, arrive in seattle.  hooray!
monday, june 18: afternoon, fly out of seattle to naknek.

so if you want to reach me, you can only do so by phone until tuesday (and then that number won't be any good anymore).  otherwise, you can send me mail at the following address:
