a quarter of a century

so on sunday i turned 25.  it doesn't feel any different from 24, which doesn't feel much different from 23, and so on.  we didn't really do much, just invited a few people over for sunday dinner, and after they left i opened my presents.  i got some pretty sweet all stars from stephanie, and neko case's fox confessor brings the flood.  laura ordered cold comfort farm for me, which arrived yesterday and i promptly watched.

the only other thing is that i am helping out at church to reorganize the library.  i got a decent chunk done yesterday, but there's still a lot to do.  i don't think many books have been donated for awhile; i found a book called today's teen-agers from 1966.  heh.  a lot of the children's books are from the 50s and 60s too, but deb is hoping to get people to donate some new stuff.  it's kind of a fun project, i get to use a typewriter, play with books, and organize things.  i'm pretty good at the first two things and sort of good at that last one.  in addition, i get to get away from the house and my dad who will NOT SHUT UP about the fact that i'm still unemployed.  i am?  i hadn't noticed!

it's not like it makes me feel like the most boring person on the planet or anything.  and i certainly enjoy watching my savings account dwindle to almost nothing in no time at all.
