almost home

times i almost cried today:

• when i checked my credit card account online.  it's scary.



• on the bus to laguardia.  i can't say that i really wanted to leave.



• in the terminal.  same reason.



• on the plane.  see above.



• in o'hare.  i KNEW i left my keys in laura's apartment.

but now i am in olin, staying the night with my sister.  laura will overnight me my keys, and someday i will actually be back in iowa city in my house.  i really hope that my plants don't die first, because they haven't been watered in a week.  and for that, i really would cry.  i've done it before.
