one of my away messages makes a mention of the head of stanislaus grumman. when i first read that, it took me about a week to realize that there was no actual person called that that it was, in fact, a reference to his dark materials. otherwise known as "the books i obsess about". i only mention this because i just read that they found a new director for the films, anand tucker.
"Hurley finds something cool enough to warrant a 'Dude!' in one of the bags, though, to be fair, Hurley deals out 'Dude!'s so liberally, it could be, like, anything, from a hairbrush to the head of Stanislaus Grumman."
also, i think that it's really funny for some reason that someone from television without pity referenced his dark materials.
