some exciting stories

i have some artwork on display at the local coffee shop.  it's pretty exciting, ottumwa doesn't have many/any photographers, so i have heard rumours from other artists that people are talking about "the photographer."  now, if someone would only buy something.  i'm also working on new stuff so when my 30 days are up, i have new things to rotate in.  i also have resumed drinking numerous mochas.

two days ago i scared a fat, fat, mean squirrel eating all of the sunflower seeds on our deck.  he jumped a foot in the air and then proceeded to fall off of the railing.  it was definitely more humourous than cruel.

i am my brother and sister's "travel agent" for their trip to england.  i have found them a hotel for £30/$60 a night right near victoria station.  which will be great.  i have also found some b&bs in salisbury to look into, and done research on places for them to go including hours and prices.  i am enjoying it, but i sure do miss england.  and if anyone else is planning i trip, i can play travel agent for them, but i do expect at least a postcard.  bigger souvenirs preferred.

last night was my mom's reception for her art show.  my grandparents came, and so did the deans, some family friends.  it's nice to see people.  like laura, who i will see in 17 days!  (i can't wait!)

  1. EXCUSE ME I TOTALLY THINK AN "I CAN'T WAIT!!!" WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE RATHER THAN A PARENTHETICAL LOWER CASE ASIDE.
