so i'm at home in fun ol' ottumwa. i've been to the doctor, again, and this time there was no poking or prodding. all he could do for me was give me a trial size of flonase and tell me that this wonderful chronic problem i have with my ears is basically not preventable, i just have to live with it and take sudafed or this flonase. nasal sprays are not my forte, so i might have to stick with the sudafed.
i was driving back here yesterday and so badly i just wanted to keep driving to someplace warm. like texas. and go camping. i've never done anything fun for spring break because i never have any money. except freshman year, and then i was just lame.
this morning i critiqued the ottumwa courier. oh lordy, i spent about ten minutes just on the layout problems...then i got to the content. it's just random stuff they throw in wherever they think it fits on the page. what relevance does a helicopter search in houston have in ottumwa? i don't know. *shakes head* i might see if they have a job opening i could have this summer. maybe they need someone to do layout...i might not be the best person on the cornellian staff for it, but i'm better than whoever they've got here.
my mom wants me to work at excel this summer. i don't know what they do, but i would make a lot of money. i bet it's factory work...oh no! i just had a horrible thought...oh yeah, my suspicions confirmed...excel is a "pork processing facility". that is just so wrong and disgusting. i don't think i could work there even for $12/hour. *shudder*
